The classic cruiser was in need of a high tech make-over to create a longer lasting, more rideable bike. By integrating technology with the classic cruiser design Trek Bicycles has a great new hybrid on their hands, a bicycle that reviews say delivers the goods and looks good doing it. For riders this means an easy to ride, stylish bicycle and hours of biking fun.

Road bikes and mountain bikes have been the bread and butter and the forte of Trek for a long time; Lance Armstrong rides a Trek bicycle. However, as these bikes have become more complex and difficult to use there has been an increased demand for simpler, easier to ride models. Trek has listened to the requests of customers and created a new cruiser that is easy to use and comfortable to ride, the perfect combination of style and technology.
Cruisers have a few characteristics that distinguish them from other bicycles. Their handlebars are designed to allow the rider to sit up straight, reducing back stress and improving field of vision. Cruisers also come with wide tires and extra large, cushioned seats that increase the smoothness of the ride. Trek has stayed faithful to these traditional design elements and added some new ones of its own; these new Trek bicycles have ultra-comfortable gel seats and rust resistant, lightweight aluminum frames and rims. Old and new come together in Trek cruisers to create an enjoyable, easy to ride bicycle.
Although well-known for their use of cutting edge technology, Trek has not neglected to give their cruisers some all important style. Trek has kept the curvaceous frame, fat tires, and chrome trim that are the trademarks of the classic cruiser, creating a good looking bike reminiscent of a simpler time. To meet the needs of different riders Trek also offers several different styles of cruiser; there is sure to be one that is a good fit for your body type and riding style.
